Pocket Trip is the mobile version of the Traveler Portal, designed for those who prefer to access trip information through a native app.
With the same functionalities as the web portal, Pocket Trip allows users to view itineraries, documents, and notifications—with the added benefit of offline access and push notifications on their mobile device.
Pocket Trip does not replace the Traveler Portal: it complements it.
Now you can offer both options and let each traveler choose how to access their trip information—whether through a browser or a native app.
A Premium or Enterprise plan is required to use the App.
It will be available for Trial and Business plans until October 15. After that date, you’ll need to upgrade to a higher plan to continue using it.
HOW TO ACCESS THE APP
The first step is always to download Pocket Trip from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The app is free and available to everyone. Once installed, the traveler must create a free account or log in with their email address.
After logging in, there are several ways to link the trip and view its content:
Automatically, if you’ve already added the traveler to the trip through the platform. In this case, the content will appear upon logging in with the associated email.
By scanning a personalized QR code, generated from the platform.
By entering a unique numeric code associated with the trip.
FEATURES
🗺️ View the itinerary
Travelers can check the full trip itinerary at any time, with the information displayed just as you designed it from your account.
The app also allows:
Viewing addresses of hotels, restaurants, activities, etc., and opening them directly in Google Maps for directions.
Clicking on a phone number to start a call directly from the mobile device.
Viewing Google reviews and ratings for each service included in the itinerary, giving travelers more context about the places they will visit.
📄 Documents
Travelers can access all documents shared through the platform directly from Pocket Trip - tickets, insurance, guides, bookings, and more. The app allows users to:
View documents on their mobile device.
Share documents with others if needed.
For more details on how to send documents from the dashboard, check out this guide on the Traveler Portal.
📶 Offline mode
One of the major advantages of the mobile app is that it allows travelers to access their trip information even without an internet connection.
By opening the app while connected, all trip content is automatically saved for offline access during the journey.
To check if the content is sync, travelers can go to their profile (top right corner). They’ll see a button indicating the sync status:
Green button: all content is available offline.
Gray button: the app is syncing or there is content pending download.
🔔 Native notifications
In addition to the notification history in the portal, Pocket Trip offers push notifications directly on the traveler’s phone, significantly improving communication speed. From the platform, you can send:
Text notifications: reminders, changes, important alerts.
Location-based notifications: such as meeting points, hotels, activities, etc.
