How to add documentation in Mogu

Learn about the three possible ways to share documentation with your client

Written by Naiara Puga

In Mogu, you can upload and share documentation with your clients from three different environments, depending on the experience you want to offer:

Each one has its own features and advantages, which we will go through step by step:

๐ŸŒ 1. Adding documentation in the Online Proposal

The fastest and most direct way to share documents with your client. You can upload documentation directly within the proposal using the file block.

  • The client accesses it without logging in

  • They simply open the proposal link

  • Once the trip is confirmed, they can easily access the documents

โš ๏ธ Important considerations

  • Only available on the Premium Plan

  • โŒ Does not allow filtering documents by passenger

  • โŒ Does not allow offline access

  • โœ”๏ธ Direct, frictionless access

๐Ÿ’ก When to use it

Ideal when you are looking for speed, simplicity, and avoiding additional logins or access steps.

๐Ÿ’ป 2. Adding documentation in the Traveler Portal (web)

A more complete and structured option for sharing documentation filtered by passenger. A key point is that it is available in all plans (including Business).

To use it, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the trip and open the Traveler Portal tab

  2. Click on Upload document

  3. Share the link

  4. The client will create an account and, when logging in, will see the trip with their personalized documentation.

To assign specific documents to each traveler, passengers must first be added to the trip. There are several ways to do this:

  • Automatic booking registration

When you use the booking module so passengers fill in a form or complete an online reservation, they are automatically linked to the trip and you can assign documents without any extra steps. Recommended for groups, incentives, or trips with many passengers and different documentation needs.

  • Manual reservation creation

If there is no previous registration, you can create a manual reservation by adding the passenger, who will then be linked to the trip. Recommended for individual trips managed outside Mogu.

  • Bulk passenger import (Excel) (coming soon)

Another upcoming option will be importing an Excel file with all passenger data.

โš ๏ธ Important considerations

  • โŒ No offline access available

๐Ÿ’ก When to use it

Ideal when you need to filter documentation by passenger.

๐Ÿ“ฑ 3. Adding documentation in the Mobile App

This is the most complete experience for the end customer. Advantages include offline access and push notifications.

  • Login required

  • Organized and filtered documentation

  • ๐Ÿ”” Push notifications to the phone

  • ๐Ÿ“ถ Offline access (no internet required)
