API Keys allow you to securely connect MOGU with other tools. Here we tell you how to create yours step by step.
Where do I find my API Keys?
From your MOGU account, go to Settings (the gear icon in the side menu) and click on the Integrations tab. There you'll see the Developer Tools section with the API Keys option.
ℹ️ This feature is only available for our Enterprise customers. If you're not one yet, contact [email protected] to upgrade your plan.
Generate your first API Key
If you haven't created any keys yet, you'll see the message "No API key has been generated". To create one:
Click on the Generate API Key button. An important message will appear reminding you that you'll only be able to see the key once.
Click Generate API Key again to confirm.
Important! Copy your key now
Once generated, you'll see your API Key on screen. This is the only time you'll be able to see it in full, so:
Click on the copy icon (📋) to copy it to the clipboard.
Save it in a safe place (such as a password manager).
When you're ready, click Done to close the dialog.
💡 If you don't copy the key now, you'll have to revoke it and create a new one.
View and manage your key
After closing the dialog, you'll see your API Key in the settings section with:
The key hidden for security.
The date and time it was created.
The "Active" status in green.
Need a new key?
If you need to create a new API Key (for example, if you lost the previous one), you can easily regenerate it.
Click Regenerate to create a new key that will replace the previous one. The old key will stop working immediately.
Need to delete your key?
If you want to delete your API Key and stop using it:
Click on the red Revoke button.
A warning will appear indicating that this action cannot be undone.
⚠️ Keep in mind: Once revoked, any integration using that key will stop working instantly.
What can I use my key for?
Your API Key will allow you to:
Use our public API to connect MOGU with any system or tool.
Create proposals in MOGU from your AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude. You can find all the details in this article.
❗Your API Key has all the permissions of your user account. This means that any action performed with it will be as if you did it yourself. For example, if you create a trip using your API Key, that trip will appear as created by you.
