Create your first trip

Everything you need to compose your first trip

Written by Equipo MOGU

Mogu’s trip builder is much more than an itinerary creator. Its LEGO-like system allows you to build travel proposals quickly and easily, adapting to every need and business model.

Within the tool, there are several ways to create a trip: from scratch, using AI, by uploading a PDF, or from a template. In this guide, we’ll focus on the first option so you can learn how Mogu works at its core.Within the tool, there are several ways to create a trip: from scratch, using AI, by uploading a PDF, or from a template. In this guide, we’ll focus on the first option so you can learn how Mogu works at its core.

🧩 Create a trip from scratch

When creating a new trip, you’ll start by defining the basic elements:

  • The trip title, which creates the first impression for your client

  • Dates and duration, which provide context to the proposal

  • The cover image, which adds visual impact

Once the foundation is set, the real power begins. On the right-hand side, you’ll find different blocks that you can drag and drop directly onto the canvas (in this article, we explain what each block is used for).

You can combine different types of content depending on each client’s needs:

  • A detailed day-by-day itinerary

  • A selection of hotels across different categories

  • A block of optional activities

  • Practical information or recommendations

  • Legal terms or booking conditions

Instead of working with static documents, you’re using a tool that gives you flexibility, structure, and a professional presentation in just a few minutes.

If you’re comfortable with this step and want to create more advanced trips, we recommend our guide on building detailed itineraries.

📤 Share the trip with your client

Once your proposal is ready, the next step is to share it. Mogu allows you to adapt to how you communicate with your clients:

  • Send the link directly via WhatsApp

  • Share it by email

  • Embed it on your website

Before sending it, you can customize the trip URL to make it clearer and more professional. The goal is for potential clients to feel like you’ve created a dedicated webpage just for them ;)

Now that you understand the core of the platform, here’s how to create a trip using the other available methods:
