At MOGU, you can easily charge your clients using personalized payment links.
To start receiving payments, you first need to set up a payment gateway in your account. Currently, you have two options available:

  1. 🌍 Global Gateway – available in more than 46 countries.

  2. 🇪🇸 Spain Gateway – available for accounts in Spain and offers lower fees than the global option.

Below, we explain how each option works, how to activate them, and what fees apply.

🌍 GLOBAL GATEWAY

Available for accounts outside of Spain. It’s a robust, easy-to-set-up solution compatible with multiple payment methods and currencies, allowing you to start receiving payments from travelers in minutes.

✅ Benefits

  • Fast, 100% online setup: No paperwork, no waiting. Activate it directly from your MOGU account.

  • Card payments: Accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

  • International payments: Accept payments from anywhere in the world and in various currencies.

  • Local currency payout: Even if the traveler pays in another currency, you always receive funds in your account’s currency.

  • Secure: Stripe complies with the highest security and data protection standards (PCI DSS).

  • High compatibility: Available in 46 countries and supports 135+ currencies.

  • Various supported payment methods.

We use Stripe internally – the world’s most widely used payment platform, trusted by millions of businesses.

⚙️ Set up

The process is fast, fully online, and completed within your MOGU account.cuenta de MOGU.

The global gateway is only active for accounts outside Spain due to the more economical local gateway. If you need to activate the global gateway for an agency in Spain, please contact ✉️ support.

Steps to follow:

1. Log into your MOGU account and go to the Settings section.

2. Look for the Payments area and click Add Stripe.

3. A form will open asking for business details. This process is known as KYC (Know Your Customer) and is required to comply with international payment regulations.

💡 If you already have a Stripe account, you can connect it. Otherwise, one will be created automatically.

4. Once submitted, Stripe will review and approve your account (usually within a few minutes).
🚨 If anything is missing, Stripe will notify you via email.

5. Once approved, you can start creating payment links and charging clients directly through MOGU.

💳 Supported payment methods

This gateway supports a wide variety of payment methods. The most common include:

  • Internationally issued credit and debit cards

Travelers can pay in their local currency, and you will receive the amount automatically converted into your account currency. For example, if you operate in Spain and a client pays from the U.S. in dollars, Stripe will convert the amount, and you’ll receive euros.

Stripe works in over 40 countries and allows payments in more than 130 currencies, perfect for dealing with travelers from multiple markets. Supported currencies depend on your country of operation (Spain, Mexico, or the U.S.).

🏷️ Fees

Payment processing fees consist of two parts: Stripe’s fee (varies by country and card type) + MOGU’s fixed fee based on your plan.

ℹ️ A currency conversion fee applies if payment is made in a currency different from your account's currency.

📌 FAQ

How do I activate the Spain payment gateway?

Fill out the form and our team will provide a personalized quote and guide you through onboarding.

Can I accept payments via transfer?

Yes, thanks to PSD2 APIs. Clients choose their bank and initiate a transfer without leaving the checkout process.

Can I accept card payments?

Yes, this gateway supports both transfers and card payments (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Diners Club, Discover, UnionPay).

What are the fees for this gateway?

Transfers: flat 0.5%. Card fees start at 0.8% depending on your volume and type of business.

Can clients pay me with cards in other currencies?

Yes, and you ALWAYS receive euros.

The system uses Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC), allowing international clients to choose to pay in their own currency (e.g., USD).
They’ll see the amount in both currencies and who handles the conversion (gateway or their bank).

Example:

  • Client pays with a USD card.

  • System converts to EUR using real-time exchange rates.

  • You receive the payment in euros.

  • The client sees the converted amount and the party responsible for the conversion.

How is this gateway different from the Redsys (POS) gateway?

It’s cheaper and simpler. Instead of paying a Redsys + MOGU fee, you only pay a 0.5% flat fee for transfers.

It also provides better stability, fewer declined payments, and a smoother setup with no bank negotiation required.

How long does activation take?

On average, two weeks from when you send the form. It depends on how quickly you provide required documentation.

How does the money arrive?

Once the traveler completes the payment, the amount is processed through the payment gateway and transferred to the bank account you provided during the KYC process.
The gateway settles payments daily, so you’ll receive the funds as they are authorized.
