Booking and payments in the traveler portal

What your customer sees about their booking and payments in the traveler portal

Written by Equipo MOGU

In this article we explain what your customer sees in the traveler portal about their booking and their payments, so you can go through it with them without sending anything separately.

When the traveler sees it

When the traveler has an active booking on the trip, their portal includes the Payments tab and, inside Trip, the Your booking card.

If the booking is cancelled or pending, the traveler sees neither the tab nor the card.

Payments tab

The tab has two blocks:

  • Summary: Expected, Paid and Pending, plus Refunded if there have been refunds. Next to it, the booking's payment status.

  • Payment details: a table with Concept, Collection date, Payment status and Amount. Pending payments that can be paid online show a Pay button.

Cancelled or expired payments are listed with their status, but are not counted in the total or the pending amount.

Your booking card

On the Trip tab, the card shows the base price, the services in each section (with the quantity, for example (x2)) and the Total. Optional sections carry an Optional label. It can be collapsed and expanded.

If the traveler has several bookings

If the buyer has several active bookings on the same trip, the traveler sees all of them, newest first (Booking 1 of 2, Booking 2 of 2…), each with its own summary and payments.
