Recording Getting the most out of proposal blocks

Training 4 November

Written by Esther Ferruz

Blocks are where everything your customer sees in a proposal comes from, so knowing them well makes a real difference. In this session we go through the builder block by block: branding and the cover page, reusable text written with MOGU AI, titles that work as an index, maps with directions, flights, hotels and activities, different ways to show the price and the practical information block. We also share a few tricks, like using the itinerary block to organise activities or hotels by category instead of by day.

What you'll see in the recording

  • Branding and cover page (00:05): choosing a theme, colours and fonts (set at account level and customisable trip by trip) and adding an eye-catching cover page that your customer sees before opening the proposal.

  • Text blocks, MOGU AI and saved blocks (00:09): writing a text with the AI and saving the block in your library so you can reuse it in other proposals without spending credits again.

  • Titles as an index and maps (00:12): turning on "Add title to menu" so your customer can jump straight to each section, and pasting a Google Maps directions link in the map block (for example, from the airport to the hotel).

  • Itinerary by category (00:16): hiding the trip dates and using your own tab or dropdown titles to group activities (adventure, culture, relax) or hotels (standard, deluxe) instead of days.

  • A new trip from scratch (00:22): customising the proposal URL, header images from your library, flights found with just the flight number, and activities and hotels from Google Places, hiding details like the phone or rating and adding your own room types and board.

  • Prices, practical info and settings (00:34): static price vs. services summary with included and not included items, the gallery, the practical information block by country, PDF and WhatsApp buttons, translating a trip into another language and inspiration templates.

Recordings are always helpful, but it's much better to watch it live so you can ask any questions that come up! Sign up for the next session here.
